Answer:

I) -12xy -6xy

= - 18xy

II) b(6-a) -a(b-5)

= 6b-ab-ab+5a

= 6b-2ab+5a

= 2b(3-a) +5a

III) (3ab-2a²-2b) - (5a²-7ab+5b)

= 3ab-2a²-2b-5a²+7ab-5b

= -7a²+10ab-7b

= a(-7+10b)-7b

IV) (3y²+5y-4) - (8y-y²-4)

=3y²+5y-4-8y+y²+4

= 4y²-3y

= y(4y-3)
