Here is the answer :
$\frac{ - 18}{11} - 1 \\ \\ = \frac{ - 18}{11} - \frac{1}{1}$

Taking LCM we get 11

$= \frac{ - 18 \times 1 - 1 \times 11}{11} \\ \\ = \frac{ - 18 - 11}{11} \\ \\ = \frac{ - 29}{11}$
