Solution:-

the sum of (a+3b-4c) and (-9a-4c)=(a+(-9a))+(3b)+(-4c+(-4c))

=-8a+3b-8c

now,

subtracting (2a-3b+4c) from (-8a+3b-8c)

=(-8a+3b-8c)-(2a-3b+4c)

=(-8a+3b-8c-2a+3b-4c)

=-10a+6b-12c
