First of all you rearrange the polynomial in descending power (2x^4 comes first).
Then you divide as you would with numbers. See below. Sorry for my American friends but when I learned it (many years ago) we put the dividend on the left, the divisor on the right hand side. The quotient comes under the divisor. I believe the order of things is slightly different for you. Hopefully the result is the same.
