Solution :

• To perform subtraction of algebraic expressions, we subtract like terms accordingly.
• Therefore , we have, $( 3m^{2} + 8n ) - (3m^{2} + 6n )$

                                            $= 3m^{2} + 8n -3m^{2} - 6n$

                                           $= 4n$

Hence difference of above expression is $4n$.
