Subtract 3x²–5y–2 from 5y–3x²+xy and find the value of the result if x = 2,y = 1​

Answer:

5y - 3x² + xy - (3x² - 5y - 2)

➡️ 5y - 3x² + xy - 3x² + 5y + 2

➡️ 5y + 5y - 3x² - 3x² + xy + 2

➡️ 10y - 6x² + xy + 2

Put values of x = 2 , y = 1

➡️ 10 × 1 - 6×(2)² + 2×1 + 2

➡️ 10 - 6× 4 + 2 + 2

➡️ 10 - 24 + 4

➡️ 14 - 24

➡️ -10
