Subtract 5xy – 5yz + 3xz + 21 from 6xy + 9yz – 7xz + 17

 \rm \implies 6xy + 9yz - 7xz + 17 - (5xy - 5yz + 3xz)

 \rm \implies 6xy + 9yz - 7xz + 17 - 5xy + 5yz - 3xz

 \rm \: = xy + 14yz - 10xz
