Let x must be subtracted

⟹a²+b²+2ab−x=−4ab+2b²

⟹x=a²+b²+2ab−(−4ab+2b²)

It can be written as

x=a²+b²+2ab+4ab

⟹x=a²+(b²−2b²)+(2ab+4ab)

(combining like terms)

⟹x=a²−b²+6ab

∴a²−b²+6ab must be subtracted
