subtract ab+bc-abc from 4abc-3ab+9bc

=(4abc - 3ab + 9bc) - (ab + bc - abc)

=4abc - 3ab + 9bc - ab - bc + abc [signs are changed because they got multiplied by signs under bracket]

=5abc - 4ab + 8bc.

Hope it helps.

Thanks
