additve inverse of 7/8 is -7/8
multiplicative inverse of -5/7×14/3 is -3×7/5×14
=-3/10
-3/10-(-7/8)=-3/10+7/8
=-0.3+0.875=-23/40

ManPreet2004: Its answer is -23/40
9491806747: what is the answer
princekuharpb67nk: thanks
9491806747: it's ok

Additive inverse is nothing but opposite sign i.e, + or -
ofa number.

a+(-a) = (-a)+(a) = 0

Multiplicative inverse is nothing but reciprocal of a number.

a×(1/a) = 1 = (1/a)×(a)

Additive inverse of 7/8 = -7/8

Multiplicative inverse of -5/7×14/3 = -70/21

= -21/70

= -7/8 - (-21/70)

= -7/8 + 21/70

= 7/8 - 21/70

= 245-84/280

= 161/280
