Answer:

We have to subtract the additive inverse of one/Seventh from -1/2

Additive inverse of 1/7=7/1

now equation will be

  \frac{ - 1}{2}  -  \frac{7}{1}

FIND THEIR LCM

which is 2

now make their denominators 2=

 \frac{ - 1}{2 }   \times  \frac{1}{1} =   \frac{ - 1}{2}

 \frac{7}{1}  \times  \frac{2}{2}  =  \frac{14}{2}

Now Subtract -1/7 from 14/2=

 \frac{14}{2}  -  \frac{ - 1}{2}  =  \frac{15}{2}

Now we have to add 2/3 to the result =

 \frac{15}{2}  +  \frac{2}{3}

find lcm

Which is 6 Now =

 \frac{15}{2 }  \times  \frac{3}{3}  =  \frac{45}{6}

 \frac{2}{3}  \times  \frac{2}{2}  =  \frac{4}{6}

Add

 \frac{45}{6}  +  \frac{4}{6}  =  \frac{49}{6}

Your Answer is

 \frac{49}{6}

hope it help you
