Difference -

(7x²+8y²) - (4x² + 3y²)

7x² +8y²-4x²-3y²

7x²-4x²+8y²-3y²

3x²+5y²

Sum-

(4x²+3y²) +(7x²+8y²)

4x²+3y²+7x²+8y²

4x²+7x²+3y²+8y²

11x²+11y²

subtract 3x²+5y² from 11x²+11y²

11x²+11y² -(3x²+5y²)

11x²+11y²-3x²-5y²

11x²-3x²+11y²-5y²

8x²+ 6y²
