Solution:-

Sum of 12ab - 10b² - 18a² and 9ab + 12b² + 14a²

= 12ab - 10b² - 18a² + 9ab + 12b² + 14a² ---->(1)

Sum of ab + 2b² and 3b² - a²

= ab + 2b² + 3b² - a² ---->(2)

Subtracting (1) from Equation (2)

⇒ - a² + 5b² + ab - ( - 4a² + 2b² + 21ab )

⇒ a² ( - 1 + 4 ) + b² ( 5 - 2 ) + ab ( 1 - 21 )

⇒ 3a² + 3b² - 20ab
