QUESTION - 1

QUESTION - 1 Subtract the sum of a - b + c and a + b - 2c from 3a + 3b + 3c.

Firstly we will add the terms -

a - b + c + a + b - 2c

combining the terms

(a + a) + ( b - b ) + ( c - 2c )

doing whatever needed

2a - c

NOW Subtraction -

2a - c - 3a + 3b + 3c

combining the terms again -

{( -3a ) + 2a } + 3b + ( 3c - c )

FINAL ANSWER = -a + 3b + 2c

Question - 2

Subtract -2b+2c from b+3c

b + 3c - (-2b + 2c)

changing the signs of the bracket

b + 3c -2b - 2c

combining the same terms

( b - 2b ) + ( 3c - 2c )

doing whatever needed

c - b

FINAL ANSWER = c - b
