Sum of 5/9 and 4/9

=>

 \frac{5}{9}  +  \frac{4}{9}  =  \frac{9}{9}  = 1

Sum of 7/11 and 3/9

=>

 \frac{7}{11}  +  \frac{3}{9} =   \frac{63 +33 }{99}  \\  =  \frac{96}{99}

Subtract

 \frac{96}{99}  - 1 \\  =  \frac{96 - 99}{99}  \\  =   \frac{ - 3}{99}  =  \frac{ - 1}{33}

Hello!

Question :

subtract the sum of 5/9 and 4/9 from the sum of 7/11 and 3/9

Solution :

 \frac{5}{9 }  +  \frac{4}{9 }  =  \frac{9}{9}  = 1

Next,

 \frac{7}{11}  +  \frac{3}{9}  =    \frac{32}{33}

Now,

 \frac{32}{33}  - 1 =   \frac{ - 1}{33}

Hope this helps
