Answer:

 \longmapsto(4x - 7y) - (x + 3y) \\ = 4x - 7y - x - 3y \\ = (4x - x) - (7y + 3y) \\ = \boxed{ 3x - 10y}✓

  • (3x-10y) is the right answer.
