Subtract x² - 2y² + z² from 2x² + 3y² – 4z²

2x² + 3y² – 4z² - ( x² - 2y² + z² )

= 2x² + 3y² – 4z² - x² + 2y² – z²

= 2x² - x² + 3y² + 2y² – 4z² – z²

= x² + 5y² - 5z²

Thnks :)
