SUCCESS:-

• Every person is given equal right to vote
• Every person above 18 years has the right to vote.
• Every person above 18 yers of age can vote regardless of their sex,caste,colour,etc.
• This ensures political stability in the country.
• This reduces the chances of conflicts in the society.
• This binds unity in the country

PROBLEMS:-

• Not every citizen of the country votes in every election.
• Many illiterate people can misuse their precious votes.
• It is easy for parties to convince poor people to vote for them by giving them money.
• As every person has to vote hence they will have to spend more money to arrange electoral machines in every area .hence it is expensive also.
• Some people still prefer to vote for their ethnic group or their religious community’s party only.

Despite above mentioned problems, universal adult franchise method is still continued to be in use.
