let the MP be 100 .
d1 = 15 %
d2 = 20 %
SP = [1-(d1/100)]*[1-d2/1100)]*100
= [1-(15/100)]*[1-(20/1100)]*100
= (85/100) * (80/100) * 100
= Rs. (17*4)
= Rs. 68
therefore , Discount = Rs. (100-68)
= Rs. 32
Therefore , 32 % is the single equivalent discount to 15 % and 20 %.
d1 = 15 %
d2 = 20 %
SP = [1-(d1/100)]*[1-d2/1100)]*100
= [1-(15/100)]*[1-(20/1100)]*100
= (85/100) * (80/100) * 100
= Rs. (17*4)
= Rs. 68
therefore , Discount = Rs. (100-68)
= Rs. 32
Therefore , 32 % is the single equivalent discount to 15 % and 20 %.
