according to the first statement :

Rs 20 notes = 2 times of Rs 50 notes







Rs 20 notes = 2 × x = 2x




total rupees = Rs 2700


Solve for ' x ' :

50x + 40x = 2700





90x = 2700 => x = 2700/90




x = 30 notes
