suppose no. of 50rs notes=9t
20rs notes=8t (as given)
then no. of 10rs notes = 122 -(9t + 8t)
= 122 - 17t
now as given in question ,
total sum = 2100
50×9t +20×8t +10×(122-17t) = 2100
by solving it gives t=2
so no. of 50rs notes =18
20rs notes =16
10rs notes =88

Answer:

no of 50rs notes - 9x

no of 20rs notes - 8x

no of 10rs notes -  122 - (9x + 8x)

=> total no of rs he has - 2100

50 × 9x + 20 × 8x + 10 × (122-17x) = 2100

so

50rs = 9x2 = 18

20rs = 8x2 = 16

10rs = 17x2-122=88
