HELLO,

Number of sweets Sue has : 18

Number of sweets Tony has : 18

Number of sweets given to Tony by Sue :

x

So,

18 - x - 5 + (18 + x) \div 2

=

13 - x + (18 + x) \div 22

Hence, the expression for the number of sweets Sue and Tony now have is :

13 - x + (18 + x) \div 2
