Cleanliness And Happiness
Cleanliness! Cleanliness! Cleanliness!
Cleanliness ever gives you happiness! happiness! happiness!
For cleanliness is next to Godliness! Godliness! Godliness!

Keep your surroundings very clean,
Dust and tidy, wash and preen,
Spic and span-it must seem,
In an environment that does gleam.

Physical cleanliness is a must,
Brush your teeth and attend to bathing;
Clean your hair and wear clothes clean;
Be fresh and to be clean, be keen.

Flush all evil thoughts from your mind
And gush it with love and ever be kind;
Honesty and sincerity; goodness and cheerfulness
Implanted, will make one bounce with happiness.

The first three stanzas are for general cleanliness.  The next few are for Clean India campaign.

Clean well your  room and House,
    Breathe Healthy Air nice and fresh,
Don’t let the mosquitoes and viruses flourish,
     Protect yourself from pollution and disease.

Throw garbage only in the proper bins,
     Happy will the strolling pedestrians be.
Unhappily dying will germs and worms be,
     Sleeping soundly in your bed you will be.

Cleanliness is next only to Godliness,
     Know that making dirty is only ugliness,
Polluting water and air is much selfishness,
     Let us put a break to this devilish madness.

Stop defecating and urinating in anywhere,
     Ask within yourself if it is a manner proper.
Spending two hours for the common good helps
     Go on community Clean drives on some Sundays.

Just not litter around the places,
    Construct toilets in schools and public locations,
Hold high the grand image of Indians,
     Once were the most cultured and learned beings.

PM Modi’s practical and ingenious mission,
     Helps not only to realize Mahatma’s dream,
But also regains the lost prestige of Indian,
    Continue for five years our role and contribution.

Two hours effort a week with enthusiasm,
     Makes lovely India Healthy and Clean.
Soon will it be a best country for Tourism.
