Take two bowls of water. One bowl with a larger surface area and the other with a smaller one.Heat both of them at the same temperature for the same time with same amount of water. After it started boiling and after a few minutes pour off the water from both the bowls into a measuring cylinder.
When measuring you will bee able to find that a large amount of water has evaporated from the larger surface area bowl rather than the smaller one.
