Aim :- illustrate the action of an electric fuse.
apparatus :- a thin strip of  aluminium foil of length 5cm, two iron nails, require length of electric wire, battery , plug-key and a bulb.

Experiment :- decorate the all apparatus like as pic.
now switch on the circuit, you see that the aluminium strip burns out immediately and the circuit break and stop the flowing of current.
this is how a electric fuse works the using of heating current and protect the household appliances for getting damaged, unusual high current due to short circuit ,power fluctuation in the electric line etc.

Answer:

The current through a wire increases beyond a limit the wire wire will become too hot and can even melt down and break. the purpose of the fuse is to safeguard the circuit damage due to excessive eating caused by the flow of a large amount of current
