Suggest an experimental set up to illustrate the action of an electric fuse. Answer: Take a paper cup and fix two metal drawing pins inside of the cup at the bottom of the paper cup by leaving a small gap between them. Now make an electric (open) circuit by connecting these pins to thin conducting electric wires, a switch and a D.C. cell in series. Now take another cup which can be fixed in the above mentioned cup, fix two metal drawing pins outside of the cup at the bottom of the paper cup by leaving a small gap between them such that these pins touches the pins of the first cup if this cup is fixed in to the first cup now connect the these two pins with a fuse wire. Your electric fuse is ready.

Answer: we make an arrangement using queues Iron nails copper wire bulb and sale as shown in the figure when we allowed the current flow through it for sometimes but when we replace the cell by battery and allowed the current to flow from sometimes we observe that used by animals break the circuit its insulate the working of fuse wire
