A fuse is a very thin piece of wire which melts if the current is too large, so stopping any potentially dangerous currents or short circuits
So set up a normal series circuit, cell, fuse then bulb.
Then short-circuit the bulb by putting a piece of wire across the bulb,
the fuse will glow!
the fuse glow because the current is too large :)
