1) Having Earthquake Detection devices to check for any tension under the Earth's Crust.
2) Having automatic Alarm system to warm about severe storms/tornados or anything harmful.
3) Having automatic Celestial object trackers to track any Moving celestial object and see whether it is a threat to our planet or not.
Explanation:
1) It can work by detecting Fore shocks or Heating up or any other signs which go unnoticed by Humans.
2) Using the Computer Vision and Reinforced learning , the AI can detect a storm or upcoming formation of a tornado and warn about it.
3) I think these are already in use but it can work by tracking and then checking the trajectory of the Celestial body and see whether it will hit the Earth or not.
