Following are the measures to reform political parties
. regular elections should be held inside the party for highest posts
. financial accounts of parties should be made public to reduce the role of big business donors
. one - third of seats in the parties should be reserved for women candidate
. parties should come under the ambit of right to information to increased transparency
. a jury should be appointed to judge in case of party disputes
. power should not be centralised in the hand of top leaders and every member of the party must have the means to influence party decisions.

1) A Law should be made to regulate the internal affairs of political parties .It should be made compulsory for the political parties to maintain registers of its members.
2)To follow its own constitution.
3) To hold open elections to the highest post.
4) It should be made mandatory for all political parties to give a minimum number of tickets, about l/3rd to women candidates.
5) There should be a quota for women in the decision making bodies of the party.
