Measures to Prevent it:-

•Afforestation→ Planting more trees leads to the strengthening of Land and increasing Soil-Fertility.

•Proper Management of Gazing→Animals should be made to gaze over a limit.

•Industrial Waste Management→Industries should make sure their waste is suitable for river, if not they must make it suitable, or decompose it in a proper place.

•Mining Activities→Mining causes land degradation and polluting the enviroment, we must do it in a limit.

•Terrace Farming→Practicing terrace Farming on Mountainous slopes, To create stairs like platforms and plant trees, to have an even flow of water to increase soil Fertility.

•High/Long Grasses must be grown→Growing Large grasses will unstable the flow of wind and wont allow wind to take off the important soil nutrients and Soil cover.
