The methods which can increase or reduce the effects of force are :
- Force is a vector quantity which can be described as pull or push on an object which results in interaction.
- The state of an object can be changed by force.
- Example: We are pushing a heavy stone in order to move it.
- If it's already moving, it might change the speed of an object.
- Another example: when a moving hockey ball is hit by a player, the speed of ball increases.
- Force can also stop a moving object, for eg a moving car can be stopped by applying brakes.
- These are all methods using which we can increase, reduce the effects of force.
