first take cutted bottle with growthed grass as show in picture .
second cutted bottle with soil on which some small piece of dried leaves.

You can keep some soil in a plate and keep it near the flow of water.

You will see that the flow of water is causing soil erosion.  

Secondly, you can pout water in moderate speed on some heaps of soils from upside and you will find that soil is getting slowly eroded.  

The same thing happens when there is over flooded river flow and there is heavy downpour.
