hey,
The two major reforms that should be implemented in the electoral system of India to improve its condition are as follow:
1. Once a candidate has been elected, a training period to teach the candidate about the working of the parliament should be kept.
2. The criteria for people to be able to participate in the election should be made stricter. This should include a certain level of education.

3. Funding for Political parties. A compensation of certain amount of money per vote to EVERY contesting political party.
4. Instant issuance of Voter ID card basis a valid ID and residence proof. Online 24 x 7.
5. Stipulating minimum qualifications for the representatives. Based on a test (NOT a bogus degrees that many have acquired). The test can be based on general knowledge about India’s constitution, basic reading, writing and counting skills.
