1. Civil Disobedience movement was originated by Gandhi on 6th April 1930 at Dandi in Gujarat.

2. The Civil-Disobedience movement saw less participation from the Muslim community due to the policy of divide and rule by the British and the communal propaganda of the Muslim League and the Hindu Mahasabha.

3. People refused to pay taxes in this movement.

4. Many people backed out of the movement, due to non-fulfilment of their demands.
