Non-corporation movement:-

non-corporation movement was directed against the injustices done by the Britishers in Punjab and turkey. It began with-

  • Boycott of legislatures
  • boycott of schools and collages by students and teachers.
  • Hartals and strikes all over India.
  • Renouncing the tiles and honours given by the Britishers.

Civil disobedience movement:-

The British government had a monopoly on salt production and passed a law, banning manufacturing of salts by Indians so that the British could sell salt at high rates and the salts made the Liverpool in England would not face any competition. Some marches were done like:-

  • Dadhi March on march 12,1930
  • Salt Satyagraha.

Non -Cooperation movement is the refusal to cooperate with the government of the country whereas Civil disobedience refers to the refusal to obey certain laws of a country. Non cooperation included resignations and refusal to pay taxes whereas civil disobedience included boycotting , protest , etc.
