Answers
Answer:
The Ghanaians in Ghana need to unite. The factors which will help in this are -
a) Identification - Ghana, formerly the British colony of the Gold Coast, assumes a special prominence as the first African country to acquire independence from European rule. Ghana is located on the west coast of Africa, approximately midway between Senegal and Cameroon. It is bordered by Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Burkina Faso, Togo, and the Atlantic Ocean. The land surface of 92,100 square miles (238,540 square kilometers) is dominated by the ancient Precambrian shield, which is rich in mineral resources, such as gold and diamonds.
b) Local Perspective - When Ghanaian meet for the first, the interaction may be stiff and formal initially. However, this soon disappears once a rapport has been built.
c) Canadian Perspective - Ghanaian value the ritual of greeting. It is a more lengthy process than is typical for Canadians. Ghanaian culture dictates a much smaller area of personal space than Canadian culture does. A Canadian may feel their personal space is being invaded in conversation with Ghanaian who may stand a foot apart, often with a hand on your shoulder
