vyshnevisatheesh: I feel like everyone should read Shantaram by Gregory Roberts. It’s about an Australian convict who escapes to Mumbai, joins and prospers in the Mumbai underworld, and falls inlove with the city. If you think it’s a cute book by my summary, then don’t because it’s a huge rollercoaster of emotions, vengeance, violence and love. The best part is: the book it based on true events. I love Roberts’ writing style and I bet anyone would. Being an Indian just makes reading the book more exciting!
