Solutions to reduce the effect of Drought

Explanation:

• Weather change due to global warming and increasing urbanization as well as deforestation has resulted in the sufferings caused due to Drought.
• As the regions around the world are getting heated up , there is uneven and less precipitation resulting in drought conditions.
• Some solutions to avoid Drought include:

1. Rainwater harvesting : Water can be effectively stored on small and large scale and can be used whenever required for drinking and irrigation purposes.
2. Drip irrigation : This is another method which helps in conserving water by avoiding excessive wastage while keeping the plants moist.
3. Harvesting water from air : Air is made of several elements from which moisture can be harvested and condensed to form water.
4. Afforestation : Plantation of trees on a large scale , helps in improving quality of air and climate can become more stable reducing the hazards of drought.
