1) take starch solution in 2 to 5 ml each 
2) collect your saliva in a mesuring cylinder 1 ml ( filter it by passing through cotton) 
3) dilute it by adding 9 ml water i.e. 1 ml + 9 ml= 10 ml 
4)now from this take 1 ml in a dropper and drop it in one of the starch solution 
5) take iodine solution and put 20 drops on a dry tile for testing 
6) after every 2 mins take a drop from each tt and put it on diff iodine drops 
7) after a while the colour of starch + saliva + iodine will be diff than starch alone
