• "Telangana State Road Transportation Corporation (TSRTC)" is a govt-owned company providing bus services from Telangana State to and to the Indian State. It was established in the year 2014 by separating the Andhra Pradesh "State Road Transportation Corporation" and is also interconnected with the TSRTC services in various other "Indian metro towns" in Andhra Pradesh , Maharashtra, Karnataka,  Odisha, Goa, & Chhattisgarh. It receives rove 1lakh passengers per day and operates through 97 depots in 3 zones &services.
• Issues with the transport facilities are mainly frequent strikes. For example, 48,00 workers of RTC (road transport corporation) remained off duty for 52 days from 5 October 2019 protesting oppressive employment, unfair wage cuts and denials of the loans, unsanitary employment and hours of service, and demanding the corporation's integration with the state government. Because of these strikes often the public faces problems owing to lack of public transport facilities.
• Besides the bus transport also have many problems. The big concerns resulting from the sharing of highways with vehicles. The efficiency of bus transportation is diminished. Congestion on the road leads to regular pauses, lengthy trips and delays in the pick-up and departure of passengers. Other problems include reduced off-peak coverage, bus shelters of low quality and unreliable schedules.
• Metro facilities are not available across the Telangana and teething issues have been faced by Hyderabad Metro Rail. These issues are frequency of metros and commuters also criticised the speed of metro which is very slow, particularly in certain stretches . Poor technology & infrastructure are other reasons. Some of the issues encountered by passengers involved non-functional ticket sales machines, locked restroom and smart card "glitches". Morever, passengers have protested about lack of information on train arrivals / departures on platform display boards which mostly displays information on frequency and the banning of smoking.

In order to improve transport facility, keeping in mind the above issues, the following measures are suggested

• The main requirement is "flexibility". For several trips people must be able to use buses – successively. Rigid schedules and routes can enhance the appeal and effectiveness of buses. "Transit systems" should be designed so the buses run on time.
• Services should allow easy access and use and be reasonably priced. visible, comfortable & attractive shelters should be built.  A number of people, such as "vision-impaired" & "mobility-challenged" should get access to buses and everyone must feel safe.
• Another key issue is the need to solve "bus Union workers" problem. Keeping in mind the workers are facing, the government must practice empathy, improve workers  job satisfaction by meeting all reasonable demands, boost morale and enhance productivity of workers.
• Issues related to metro as mentioned such as improvement of technology & infrastructure, cost-effective, easy accessibility, running of more metro trains  especially keeping in mind  the needs of women, senior citizens & persons with disabilities are taken into consideration
