to solve problems of land degradation, soil must be made fertile
1. add chemical fertilizers like npk, DDT, etc. ( not too much )
2. leave land for fallowing for 6months to 1 year
3. plactising crop rotation could be extremely effective as when grains are grown along with leguminous plants, one gets the produce from both and the leguminous through biological nitrification, add fertility to the soil at the same time
4. add organic pesticides (like some bacteria that produce toxins which kill insects eg: bacillus thuringiensis ) and fertilizers ( compost, green compost and vermicompost)
