1. Grow plants - by growing plants, their root will hold the soil as root make a grip inside soil to let the plant stand.
2. do not cut trees- as root work as a holder, then if trees are cutted then grip of roots will not be there and soil will degrade easily.
3. prevent rainwater to fall directly on soil- if water falls directly on soil then soil will degrade, to prevent this trees are the best as rain drops fall slowly first on their leaves and then on land(soil).
