Measures to protect ourselves from lightning :-

1. Avoid driving open vehicles like motorbikes ,cars ,tractors etc.

2. Avoid using an umbrella during lightning.

3. Take shelter under shorter trees like shrubs instead of tall trees, open fields and parks.

4. Lightning conductor should be installed in the buildings during construction.

5. Avoid using electrical appliances like - computer ,TV , radio mobile phones, etc.
