The three practical strategies in which school could involve learners in community work are given below

• Saving electricity - children must have habit to switch off fans and tube lights when not in use. This habit help them to save electricity at home or in hostels .

• To prevent wastage of water- while washing hands or face, children must learn to use less amount of water and must have habit to close the tap when not in use. This habit will prevent them from wastaging water wherever they are.

• cleaning habits - students must be inculcated with cleaning habits so that they keep their school premises and school garden clean . They will learn keep their house clean.
