Shelli , chain pump , moat and bullock driven are the irrigation methods. They are cheaper as compared to the modern methods of irrigation but they do not help much in the water consumption and does not increase the yield of the crop.

Explanation:

  • driven irrigation method means that the Bullock of the cattle animal used to draw the water from the nearby water body to the land which is to be updated. This consumes a large amount of time.
  • The pulley system uses simple machine to pull the water from a well and to irrigate the land. The chain pump is used to pump underground water and consists of two different large wheels which are used to pull up the water.
