Shelli , chain pump , moat and bullock driven are the irrigation methods. They are cheaper as compared to the modern methods of irrigation but they do not help much in the water consumption and does not increase the yield of the crop.

• driven irrigation method means that the Bullock of the cattle animal used to draw the water from the nearby water body to the land which is to be updated. This consumes a large amount of time.
