  • If the person travels any one side the displacement will be less than diagonal
  • If the person travels from one point to another point on opposite side then also displacement will be less than diagonal
  • if the person travels to a point on adjacent side then also the displacement would be less than diagonal.

So diagonal is the maximum displacement = 100√2m
