sulphur has a melting point of 114 degree celcius . Can the melting point of sulphur be determined by using water bath as shown in the diagram? explain ur answer.

Explanation: The melting point of sulfur is given as 114 centigrade

But, boiling point of water is 100 centigrade so, when water starts boiling

it reaches 100 c and rest all water starts boiling and gets empty so the required temperature is not satisfied.

Therefore, melting point of sulfur cannot be determined by water bath.
