bromine ..Physically most of the non-metals around us exist as gases, solids that are brittle and do not have a lustre. For example, hydrogen, oxygen are gases at room temperature and sulphur, phosphorous exist as solids. Bromine is the only non-metal that exists as a liquid at room temperature.
