sulphuric acid is added to water .will you get a mixture or a compound.why

we will get a homogeneous mixture which will be an aqueous solution of sulphuric acid and water making the acid dilute.as no reaction take place between sulphuric acid and water as hydrogen from water can't displace the atom of same element hydrogen from sulphuric acid.
