- After death of Muhammad Ghuri, Qutubuddin Aibak started ruling india independently.
- Babur defeated the last sultan Ibrahim Lodi in battle & ruled delhi thereafter.
- On the other hand, Sultan Mahmud of Ghazni invaded india many times but never won the indian territories.
